You will work under the supervision of the After School Site Supervisor to assess individual needs, develop skills, and foster positive relationships with peers and adults.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services and support to peers in a safe and non-judgmental environment
- Assist in assessment and provision of services that meet the unique needs of each program youth
- Encourage active participation in decision-making processes and activities
- Facilitate group planning and execution, promoting teamwork and social responsibility
- Engage in community outreach and maintain positive relationships with local organizations
- Share experiences and knowledge with school and community groups about the importance of after-school programs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to program policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must be between 16 and 19 years old and a current resident of the Fulton City School District
- Display maturity, empathy, and a desire to work with school-age youth
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated, flexible, and willing to learn and grow
- Demonstrate good judgment and ability to work collaboratively with adults and peers
