Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing needs.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary.
- Administer basic medical care such as catheter care and monitoring vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client care and progress.
- Follow safety protocols, including CPR procedures, to ensure the well-being of clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or memory care is preferred.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting clients and assisting with mobility.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition are beneficial.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices is a plus.
