O'Connor Family Law is a rapidly growing firm that focuses on divorce, custody, and other related family law issues, specifically including high-conflict litigation and high-asset cases. We have two offices: one in Westborough and one in Hanover. We are hiring for both locations as we practice throughout most of Massachusetts.
Our firm was established after our CEO and Founding Attorney, Heather O'Connor, went through her own divorce and felt like there was something missing within the divorce process to help people plan for their post-divorce future. Although her three kids were all under the age of six at that time, Heather went to Community College, Undergrad, and then Law School with the goal of changing how divorce was done. OCFL was established in 2016, and we have grown to a team of over 20, including a full-time coach on staff who assists our clients on working through a lot of the emotional turmoil that comes along with many family law cases.
We are seeking 2-3 experienced family law litigators. We have both a Senior Associate and Partnership track for the right candidates. The ideal applicant will have significant experience with all aspects of practicing family law in Massachusetts, including case strategy and management, drafting all applicable types of pleadings, discovery, hearings, negotiations, and trial work. You must have experience with high-conflict level cases, inclusive of cases involving allegations of domestic violence, parental alienation/interference, substance abuse, manipulation and control, relocation, DCF involvement, and difficult opposing counsel, with the ability to focus on the de-escalation of high emotional issues. If you have experience with any of the following, it could potentially be helpful as we continue to grow and expand as well: trusts and estate planning, real estate, criminal law, and personal injury.
We are not looking for someone who just wants a job. We are looking for someone who is passionate about family law and life in general. We want someone who desires to make a meaningful difference in their clients' lives as well as in the growth and development of the firm. We have big goals, and we are seeking someone excited about growing with us!
If you think you might be the right person, please apply!
