Are you a friendly, detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service? Due to internal promotion, Oconto Electric Cooperative is looking for a Member Services Representative to be the first point of contact for our members and provide essential support in billing, accounting, and customer service operations.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls and walk-in visitors
✔ Process bill payments and assist with accounting tasks
✔ Oversee new member paperwork and inquiries
✔ Manage office equipment, shipping, and vendor coordination
✔ Support collections and accounting operations
✔ Maintain confidentiality while ensuring efficient operations
Qualifications
✅ Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in accounting, customer service, or a related field (or 3 years of equivalent experience)
✅ Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities
✅ Attention to Detail: Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
✅ Team Player: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work environment
✅ Dependable & Organized: Manages multiple tasks effectively and meets deadlines
Requirements:
📌 Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
📌 Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally
