The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that OCP’s health and safety programs meet or exceed OSHA, state, and federal requirements in a specific OCP location. Understanding and enforcing OCP safety policies are key to the successful execution of this role.

- Ensures that all office and field employees follow OSHA, construction industry standards and Drug free workplace policies through the regular use of audits and inspections.
- Maintain various safety and health policies, procedures and programs.
- Responsible for the proper execution of safety related recordkeeping.
- Consistently enforce the disciplinary policy set forth by OCP safety standards.
- Prepare and participate in audits conducted by OSHA, EPA, and or the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. Ensuring that all job sites are equipped with the required PPE and responsible for ordering and maintaining the stock of PPE.
- Create and manage the site-specific safety program to ensure a safe work environment for all working on site.
- Manage and perform the training on OCP Safety and Health Program.
- Investigate and evaluate every accident/near miss and implement plans to eliminate the hazard(s).
- Establishing and communicating the corporate goals set forth in the accident reduction plan.
- Maintain OSHA 300 Injury/Illness log.
- Prepare and participate in audits conducted by OSHA, EPA, and or the State of Ohio BWC.
- Associate degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (Years of experience and certifications maybe substituted)
- 10 years of safety experience.
- 5 years construction expereince
- Clear Driving Record
- OSHA 30
- Working knowledge of 1926 and 1910 OSHA Standards
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification (preferred)
