OCR Alpha has partnered with a top global hedge fund looking to expand its finance team in Connecticut. They operate a multi-strategy approach and have offices across Connecticut, New York, London and Asia.
This firm have a long-standing track record of growth and this role would be the perfect first step for a Big 4 accountant looking to move to a hedge fund. The role will be technical but equally requires strong communication skills as will work with several other internal teams and report directly to senior management. This role is responsible for annual financial statements, financial planning, management of accounting policies, tax filings, regulatory filings and lots of exciting project work.
The ideal candidate will have at between 6-10 years audit experience ideally from a Big 4 and have worked on audits for investment management clients. They would ideally want someone with their CPA but would consider wider audit backgrounds for the right person.
On top of a generous base salary uplift, hedge fund level bonus they will also offer onsite meals provided, gym, dental, health insurance, paid vacation and 401k as part of a wider benefits package. This role will be 5 days a week onsite in Connecticut.
Salary : $170,000 - $200,000
