Responsibilities And Duties
OCT is currently looking for a Contract Closeout Specialist to support one of our federal clients. Expertise in grant closeouts is required.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience as a federal government employee (Series 1102 or equivalent), member of the Armed Forces, or contractor. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success.
Individual will focus on grant closeouts by reviewing supporting documentation, finalizing Financial Reports, de-obligating funds, and issuing final closeout notices.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in federal grants management, financial reconciliation, and closeout activities
- Experience with grants administration tools (e.g., NEAT, PRISM) preferred
- Knowledgeable in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and grant closeout processes and procedures
- Proficiency in software tools for document creation, collaboration, and formatting, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (the investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check)
