Estimator/Project Manager
Octagon Cleaning and Restoration is seeking to hire a dynamic Project Manager/Estimator. We are a local restoration company that specializes in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration and asbestos abatement. We are looking for a professional, energetic, and determined candidate that has amazing attention to detail. You must be client focused and ready to serve. Water, mold, fire and asbestos certifications are a plus. The average pay for our Project Managers is $103,500.00.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect job types we provides service for. Effectively able to diagnose and develop appropriate estimate/job scope to restore clients property to pre-loss condition. Responsible for writing and delivering accurate estimates to the appropriate persons in a timely manner. Estimate jobs according to IICRC and company standards. Provide all supporting documentation to clients and Water Damage Manager when applicable.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Work Experience Requirements:

This position requires relevant industry experience, superior attention to detail, ability to use Xactimate, knowledge of mold regulations / protocols, WRT certification, knowledge of lead / asbestos, working knowledge of HVAC, ability to follow IAQ reports and read blueprints. Position will include scoping IAQ jobs, pricing IAQ jobs, maintaining strong sales numbers and revenue targets, and, communicating all project details to appropriate managers

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers and customers and 3rd party vendors

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

· Must possess computer skills to effectively use management software and estimating software (Xactimate)

· Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment), comply with all applicable OSHA safety and health requirements

· Must be have a clean driving record and pass a background check

· Must be available to field phone calls from our week end on call employees on a rotating basis

Physical Requirements:

· Must be comfortable wearing all PPE including respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, bump caps, etc.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to perform safely in varying weather conditions and temperatures

· Ability to work in confined spaces or heights

· Must be able to stand, bend , kneel, and crouch for long periods of time

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with IICRC, other federal, state and local standards, including meeting quality and productivity standards.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
