CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA. ***

Octagon is searching for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team as a leader and playmaker at the intersection of sports/entertainment and experiential marketing. This role is ideal for someone that is passionate about sports with a minimum of four (4) years of partnership experience.

In this role, you will support a team responsible for the strategic program development of our client's Soccer portfolio.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO

• Serve as a reliable agency contact for the client marketing and sponsorship teams
• Support the Account Director in the day-to-day strategic planning and program development/execution for our client's Soccer portfolio
• Contributing member to a fully integrated team, dedicated to the development of our client's Soccer programming (including implementation/evolution of management routines across multiple constituencies including clients, internal agency teammates, cross-agency partners, property partners, and vendors)
• Work closely with our Experiences team to develop/activate programs in support of clients' goals and objectives
• Support the Account Director and Senior Account Manager in the management of documents such as budgets, status reports, inventory tracking, and meeting agenda and notes
• Consistently stay up-to-date with the financial services industry, sports and entertainment news, and trends

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 4-5 years of work with an agency, brand, or property on the development of integrated brand campaigns, within global sports and specifically soccer
• Quick learner with confidence in managing multiple programs at once
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Exceptional work ethic, a strong desire to succeed, and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Strategic collaborator and problem solver - can see possible impacts of a decision on many projects
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically (and internationally) and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel amount: Moderate (20-45%). As such, a valid US passport will be required

The base range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
