Key responsibilities and activities
· Operates winder system on the extrusion line.
· Assists Extrusion Operator with threading the line.
· Prepares winder mechanism for new roll.
· Inserts core on winder to specific width of sheet.
· Cuts sample for Quality inspection.
· Shrink Wraps finished roll and documents specifications of roll (line, time, date, winder station and initial).
· Investigates and removes jammed sheet in line.
· Uses forklift to move finished roll from production to shipping.
· Weighs rolls and produces tags through use of computer system.
· Assists Extrusion Operator as needed.
· Operates Trim Grinders as needed.
· All other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
· High School Diploma
· REQUIRED: 1-2 years previous manufacturing experience
Skills
· Problem solving/analysis

· Highly self-motivated and driven

-In addition to hourly pay Winder Operators can receive attendance bonuses monthly up to an extra $1 per hour for every hour worked during the month.
-Night shift winder operators will receive an additional $1 for shift differential for every hour worked.
