Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze ballistic missile delivery systems, including propulsion, guidance, and warhead deployment.
- Assess missile threats across SRBM, MRBM, and ICBM categories.
- Develop disablement and destruction methods for missile systems and infrastructure.
- Provide technical recommendations to DTRA programs reducing WMD threats.
- Support missile threat intelligence, collaborating with DTRA engineers and analysts.
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, and presentations for senior DoD leadership.
- Stay current on emerging missile technologies and adversary capabilities.
- Contribute to interagency efforts, including training for foreign partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in ballistic missile delivery systems, rocket propulsion, or missile defense.
- Expertise in missile guidance, propulsion technologies, and warhead delivery.
- Experience with intelligence analysis and missile threat assessment.
- Familiarity with DTRA, DoD, or related government counter-WMD operations.
- Proficiency in missile modeling, simulation, and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills, capable of briefing technical findings to leadership.
- MS degree and 15 years of experience.
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) qualification.
- Knowledge of the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and arms control agreements.
