Job Details
Senior Linux & Cloud Systems Administrator with deep expertise in Red Hat/OpenShift, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Pacemaker clustering, and multi-cloud environments (including AWS).
This role supports a critical Red Hat/OpenShift deployment initiative, and end-to-end OCI deployment experience is a must.
Manage Enterprise-grade Linux systems, high-availability clusters, and cloud infrastructure while automating deployment processes using modern DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Must have end-to-end deployment experience with OCI.
Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, and Pacemaker clustering.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python.
Experience working in multi-cloud environments, particularly OCI and AWS.
Linux System Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune for stability and efficiency.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Apply patches, updates ensuring compliance with security standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Automate administrative tasks using Bash, Python, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Pacemaker Cluster Management:
Design and maintain high-availability (HA) clusters using Pacemaker and Corosync.
Configure resource agents, constraints, and automated failover mechanisms.
Perform cluster health checks, testing, and reliability drills.
Integrate Pacemaker with technologies like DRBD, iSCSI, NFS, and Apache.
Multi-Cloud Administration (OCI & AWS):
Deploy and manage infrastructure across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
Automate provisioning of VMs, storage,networking using Terraform,Ansible or CloudFormation.
Ensure secure and efficient integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
