Part Time Position

Must have the flexibility to work Day or Night shift.

A minimum of 20 hours a week but can be up to 35.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 LOCATIONS

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned areas, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs, such as plumbing issues, lighting problems, or damaged fixtures.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed within specified timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and facility occupants to address cleaning needs or concerns.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respect for privacy and confidentiality when working in occupied areas.
• Pay attention to detail and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

• Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks such as lifting heavy objects, prolonged standing, bending, and reaching.
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset, demonstrating knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address cleanliness issues.
• Good time management and organizational skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Dependability and reliability, consistently meeting work schedules, and being punctual.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with supervisors, colleagues, and facility occupants.
• Demonstrated professionalism, positive attitude, and respect for privacy and confidentiality.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending and squatting is required.
• Standing for up to four hours at a time.
• Can lift 50 lbs
