What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Octopi Brewing LLC?
OCTOPI - Maintenance Electrician
Available Shift : Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm or Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Primary Responsibilities :
- Conduct work safely per company policy including GMP and SQF standards; help coach / mentor coworkers in electrical safety.
- Help the maintenance team to improve uptime of production equipment and processes by identifying process & equipment efficiency / cost savings opportunities.
- Own small / midsized facility electrical projects and assist in the electrical installation & maintenance of production equipment.
- Provide necessary electrical expertise as required.
- Participate in the planning and technical development of projects.
- Help to develop, verify, update and ensure compliance of Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Inspect production equipment and facility electrical systems and develop corrective actions.
- Provide rapid respond to electrical safety concerns / incidents.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance tasks.
- Select, order, and purchase materials (with manager's approval) for projects.
- Work closely with other maintenance techs, production teams, and leadership to prioritize and execute necessary work.
- Help to organize and participate in training sessions : Safety, NFPA 70E, Forklift safety, SQF, etc.
- Maintain records of completed work.
- Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
