Overview
OPM’s Project Manager will be responsible for managing restoration projects and supporting the preparation, drafting, and submission of permit applications, amendments, reports, and renewals. This individual will work with a dynamic team of restoration practitioners, homeowners, field technicians, and project partners. The ideal candidate for this role is a critical thinker who can work independently and collaboratively to manage, track, and deliver on project milestones, deadlines, budgets, and permits. This position requires a strong background in project management, preferably in the field of environmental restoration or business.
Additionally, you should have a demonstrated understanding of restoration techniquescand permitting regulations. The Restoration Project Manager position is a communication-intensive and deliverable-based role and requires excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. This position requires in-person fieldwork and team coordination and there are opportunities to work from home.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- craft and sell change orders with customizable scopes per homeowner and business owner needs
- Manage project implementation by coordinating resources and tasks effectively.
- Supervise team members, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize tools such as Dash and Xactimate for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular status meetings to assess progress and address any issues or risks.
- Oversee scope management to ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for and managed appropriately.
- Design programs that align with organizational goals while meeting client needs.
- Engage in project engineering activities to ensure technical feasibility and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on product management and implementation.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in scope management and program design is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.
