Role
The Operations Associate will work within Octus Global Covenants team and be based in our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. The role is ideal for someone who has recently completed their undergraduate degree and is interested in growing within the financial services, legal and / or data sectors. It is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has a desire to learn and thrives in a growing, dynamic environment.
This is a full-time position, and the ability to work from our El Segundo office on a hybrid schedule is required.
Responsibilities
- Fielding client queries for covenant analysis via email and tracking the status of queries across various Octus teams
- Ensuring strict adherence to compliance processes related to private documents and analysis
- Collaborating with our commercial team to provide excellent client service
- Maintaining internal reporting documentation
- Liaising with offshore data team and EMEA / Americas teams on workflow and data initiatives, when required
- Monitoring fixed income deal flow and compiling related documentation
- Supporting and working collaboratively with Octus legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in EMEA and the Americas on developing editorial content and data projects
- Collaborating on, and leading, various administrative and operations projects
Requirements
At Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The salary range estimate for this position is $67,000 - $75,000.
The actual compensation will be at Octus' sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
