Pulmonary Care Provider – Telehealth/Clinic
About the Role:
Managing complex conditions such as COPD, asthma, and sleep apnea is challenging for many patients, often leading to frustration, disengagement, and frequent emergency room visits. Our goal is to change that by providing personalized, innovative care that helps patients effectively manage their conditions both in their homes and in the clinic.
As a Pulmonary Care Provider, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class care to patients with lung disorders, providing support both through telehealth and in-clinic visits.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Lead the care team to provide exceptional treatment for patients with pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, and sleep apnea.
- Establish and supervise personalized care plans for each patient, ensuring proper care is delivered by the team.
- Explain and demonstrate the benefits of technology-driven care to patients and engage them regularly to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and the broader care team to coordinate holistic care.
- Provide care through telehealth consultations and in-clinic visits as needed.
What You’ll Need to Qualify:
- A passion for innovation and continuous quality improvement in healthcare.
- Experience working with pulmonary patients (COPD, asthma, sleep apnea).
- Ability to help build and contribute to a new, innovative medical practice.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to engage patients and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience providing culturally competent, patient-centered care, including via telehealth.
- Experience in clinical training and mentorship for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Strong computer skills and comfort with telemedicine tools and EMR documentation.
- Ability to adapt in a start-up environment and embrace change.
Compensation:
- $40 for 30-minute first-time appointments
- $30 for 20-minute follow-up appointments
- Estimated $550 - $750 per day, working 3 days a week.
