Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, including optometrists, retailers, and end-users. The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for inquiries, orders, and any issues related to our products, and plays a vital part in maintaining the company's quality and customer service standards.].

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Process orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate and prompt delivery of products.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings to guide and assist customers effectively.
  • Resolve customer complaints by identifying solutions and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Handle overflow of incoming daily calls, ensuring all customer needs are met.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and improve processes.
  • Assist with special assignments or projects as needed.
  • Qualifications, Skills and Competencies :

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare or optical industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
  • Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various customer needs and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • OCULUS provides a smoke and vape-free environment on company premises for its employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the use of office equipment and technology. You may also be required to lift and carry materials up to 10 pounds occasionally.
