Job Overview :

The Logistics Supervisor plays a key role within the Shared Resources Logistics department to support all US OCULUS entities. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities. The supervisor works with the team daily to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to managing inventory and preparing orders for shipment. Supervisory responsibilities of the staff include performance management, scheduling, and overall guidance and communication of departmental processes.

Job Location : Port Sait Lucie, FL

Schedule : Monday -Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm EST

Essential Responsibilities :

Prioritize and delegate daily tasks to ensure seamless department operations

Train, coach and lead team members, fostering productivity and collaboration based on the OCULUS fundamentals

Assists Logistics Manager with hiring and training of new employees

Manages the logistics for all tradeshows

Responsible to ensure daily shipping / receiving tasks are processed and completed timely

Responsible for overseeing the daily quality testing of medical devices and the customization of computers associated with them

Leading by example, enforce company operating and safety policies

Oversee and assess warehouse operations, providing daily reports to the Logistics Manager

Assist management in establishing warehouse standards, procedures, and improvements

Assist management with inventory control, special projects, and other tasks as assigned

Assist setting up / tearing down equipment at tradeshows when necessary

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts

Promote a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and guidelines

Participate in training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the medical devices

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent

5 years relevant experience in logistics

3 years supervisory experience preferred

Ability to effectively lead a team

Experience in inventory control, data entry, and ERP / WMS systems

Computer software installation experience

Strong understanding of company quality standards, methodologies, and documentation processes

Positive and collaborative attitude, coupled with a strong work ethic and proactive problem-solving abilities

Ability to multitask and pay attention to details; great organizational skills to meet daily deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data entry

Physical demands and work environment :

Ability to work in a warehouse type environment and perform activities standing or sitting over a length of time, lifting up to 50 lbs., moving objects up to 100 lbs., and operating tools and equipment that require good vision and a steady hand

Ability to operate a forklift (training and certification will be provided)

Ability to travel about 5-10% of time to tradeshows or customers to set up / tear down equipment
