The Opportunity
Oculus Pathology, the premier pathology practice in Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced financial executive to serve as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a highly successful private practice, Oculus Pathology has built its reputation on delivering exceptional diagnostic services, leveraging clinical and administrative expertise, and maintaining a strong, strategic business foundation.
As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic financial vision set forth by the Board of Directors. This position is responsible for leading the Finance and Revenue Cycle Departments, driving operational excellence, and executing on the organization's growth and financial objectives in collaboration with the Leadership Committee.
Position Summary
In this role, you will have primary day-to-day responsibilities for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and supply chain-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, revenue cycle, forecasting, job costing, property management, deal analysis, negotiations, and supply chain.
Work Experience Requirement :
- Ten (10) plus years of experience in progressive, responsible financial leadership roles.
- Experience in working in a senior financial management role, partnering with Executive staff.
- Healthcare financial management, group practice experience preferred
Education Requirement :
B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent degree programs, CPA and / or Masters highly desirable, Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management (FHFMA) a plus.
