We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a skilled-nursing facility in Adelphi, Maryland.
About the Position
- Licenses: Must be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Maryland
- Experience: Experience working in skilled-nursing or rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required. A can-do attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role
**Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch speech therapy services to residents in our skilled-nursing facility
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, set achievable goals, and monitor progress towards meeting those objectives
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate results to relevant stakeholders
