ODA Primary Health Care Network is seeking a Call Center Representative
The Call Center Representative assists patients with their appointments, insurance, and other health care services. Act as a liaison between patient and provider when needed.
Responsibilities:
-Exceptional human relations, communication and have a friendly disposition at all times.
-Have an aptitude to work in a very busy environment including phones, patients and staff as needed.
-To schedule all appointments in the assigned area, according to the schedule of the providers.
-To answer questions regarding the scheduling of appointments and insurance protocols to the best ability and refer quarries to providers and supervisory administrative personnel.
-To relay telephone messages and appropriate charts to providers.
-To consult with providers and supervisor when appointment demands exceed existing schedule.
-To register patients in an efficient and timely manner.
-To follow all fiscal requirements.
-To assist in other areas as directed by supervisor during others’ break times.
-To report to supervisor any problems regarding patients, insurances or appointments.
-To establish an environment fostering patient satisfaction.
-To monitor patient flow and advocate for patients and the center in reducing wait time.
-To serve as a facilitator for patients to receive needed health care services.
-To be punctual and reliable.
-Evening and weekend hours required.
Requirements:
-Proficiency with various Microsoft Windows products and Medical Systems.
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
-Insurance verification experiences a plus.
-Ability to serve as a member of the health care team with sensitivity to community residents
