What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Oda wine bar?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front-of-house operations including:Bartending and serving the dining area
- Hiring support staff & schedules (we will help with hiring and training)
- Reservations
- Quality control
- Closing / opening procedures
- Manage and track inventorySend (bi-weekly) update so we can place orders
- Audit inventory vs sales (monthly)
- Analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong sales skills to upsell drinks and promote specials
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service to customers
- Knowledge of the food industry, including wines
