Job Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and dependable Handyman Helper to join our team on a part-time/temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is eager to learn, and wants to be part of a small, down-to-earth team. You’ll be assisting with day-to-day tasks on a variety of residential renovation and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with construction and repair of decks, sheds, doors, and other structures
- Support drywall patching, painting, and finishing tasks
- Carry tools, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
- Help measure, cut, and prepare materials
- Perform site clean-up and organization
- Follow directions and work safely and efficiently
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with the team and clients
Requirements:
- Some experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation to/from job sites in the Warwick, NY area
- Punctual, respectful, and customer-service oriented
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Prior experience with decking, framing, painting or drywall work
- Own tools or toolbelt
