About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining retail stores across our service areas. This is a field-based position where you’ll travel to assigned job sites daily to complete repairs and maintenance tasks as outlined in the scope of work. No two days are the same, so you’ll need to be a well-rounded professional ready to tackle a variety of challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to multiple retail locations to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs, or other field services.
Address and resolve safety hazards, ensuring a secure shopping environment.
Securing floors, doors and windows, as well as alarm systems
Repair and maintain doors, flooring, plumbing, fixtures, and other areas as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and client store managers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
Ensuring project completion from start to finish: even if we have a gap in our production schedule due to material lead time
Self reliant during the projects
Required Qualifications:
We’re seeking candidates who have:
At least 2 years of experience in one or more skilled trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC)
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within a 50-mile radius of your designated work region
A pleasant demeanor
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Skills and versatility in repair and maintenance work
Great time management
Reliability - show up when you say you will
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
OSHA 10 Certification (or similar safety certifications).
Familiarity with working in retail or commercial environments.
Salary : $35,000 - $56,000
