Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This position requires strong skills in employee relations, talent acquisition, and conflict management to support our workforce effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Assist in the onboarding/offboarding process for new hires/terminations, including orientation and necessary documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees to address HR-related issues or concerns.
- Assist in the 30-60-90-day reviews.
- Assist in the Quarterly Newsletter with guidance from the CEO, President, HR Director
- Participating in the Monthly Employee Spotlight
- Help resolve employee disputes and conflicts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Coordinate and track performance reviews, provide feedback, and help identify areas for development.
- Coordinate HR Metrics with the HR Director
- Assist with open enrollment
- Assist the Director of Giving with engagement opportunities.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Business Management, HR, or equivalent experience in a similar role for up to two years.
- Two years’ Proven experience as a Generalist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paychex, Paycom)
- Spanish Preferred
- SHRM certifcation perferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
