We’re seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Developer with UX/UI design experience to help build and enhance our Shopify-powered platform. If you’re passionate about accessibility, web design, fashion, and creating seamless user experiences, we’d love to collaborate!
Key Responsibilities
Web Development & Design:
- Design responsive layouts optimized for a variety of devices, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
- Contribute to an organic SEO strategy to boost user engagement and brand visibility.
- Manage and troubleshoot API connections between Shopify and other systems for smooth integrations.
- Enable seamless product purchasing and order processing through the marketplace.
Accessibility & Optimization:
- Address and resolve ADA-related website issues, ensuring WCAG compliance.
- Enhance product search functionality using deep learning analysis of product data.
Analytics & Merchant Tools:
- Set up and configure GA4 for tracking and data insights.
Collaboration & Support:
- Participate in meetings with advisers and founder to align on goals and progress.
- Maintain weekly communication with founder on platform development updates.
- Assist with product postings and information implementation.
Requirements
Design Skills:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, and Liquid.
- Experience with Shopify Plus, SEO optimization, and API integration.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of frontend development tools, including Babel, webpack, and Bootstrap.
UX/UI & Accessibility:
- Expertise in designing user-focused, accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG guidelines.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and CSS animations.
Soft Skills & Additional Knowledge:
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Interest in fashion, accessibility, and mission-driven projects.
