What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at Odessa Health Care?
We are looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to take charge of this facility. Previous Administrator experience with a successful track record and experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred. Successful applicant must have thorough knowledge of regulations and possess an unencumbered Missouri Administrator License.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring a high standard of care for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings.
- Supervise staff, providing leadership and support to enhance team performance.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on memory care and dementia support.
- Ensure compliance with resident's rights and safety regulations while fostering a positive community environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address concerns and promote well-being.
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership skills in long-term care settings
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and staff
- Knowledge of residents' rights and advocacy
- Supervisory experience in home and community care environments
- Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care practices
- Understanding of budgeting and financial management in care facilities
- LNHA- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
