The Account Representative will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing DistributionNOW’s customer base within a specified territory and specialty, and will act as the representative of DNOW for specific customers, maintaining and enhancing the business relationships with those companies.- Primary focus will be calling on drilling rigs and/or E&P companies to service those accounts.
- Maximize financial results (revenues, margins, etc.).
- Improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Attain and exceed sales goals through increased market share, both existing and new business.
- Responsible for business development.
- Provide activity reports to manager.
- Other duties, as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or work equivalent.
- Relevant business experience & product knowledge (drilling, oil and gas production).
- MS Office skills (Excel and Word) and SAP knowledge preferred.
- Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.
- Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
- Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.

Horizontal Pump Project Coordinator
As a Horizontal Pump Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating horizontal pump (HPUMP) projects by working closely with the sales team, shop operations, and management. This role ensures efficient process quoting, workload balancing, and execution of special projects while leveraging technical expertise in artificial lift systems, ESPs, or horizontal pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Quoting Coordination: Work with the sales team to manage and track process quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing, lead times, and project scope.
- Project Scheduling & Capacity Planning: Coordinate with the shop team to align incoming projects with capacity, prioritizing workloads to optimize efficiency.
- Internal Operations Tracking: Use Siteline to track material movement, job progress, and equipment readiness for deployment.
- Equipment Preparation & Testing: Support the operations team in preparing, checking, and testing horizontal pumping systems before deployment.
- Engineering & Technical Support: Provide internal teams with operational insights and technical recommendations for horizontal pumping systems.
- Special Projects & Process Improvements: Collaborate with management to support strategic initiatives, process optimizations, and operational enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; or a Technical Diploma with relevant industry experience.
- Experience: Background in Artificial Lift, ESPs, or Horizontal Pumps (HPUMP) with experience in project coordination, inside sales, or manufacturing.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Siteline or similar system and MS Office software; mechanical/electrical expertise preferred.
- Communication & Organization: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, proactively addressing operational challenges and workflow bottlenecks.
