Automation Shop TechnicianKey Responsibilities:
- Perform wiring of 12V and 24V systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Understand and apply knowledge of basic circuitry to resolve technical issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain transducers, sensors, and other automation components.
- Work with Modbus communication protocols and networking setups to ensure system functionality.
- Safely operate power tools and equipment for various shop-related tasks.
- Complete work orders accurately and submit detailed reports on tasks performed.
- Assist with forklift operation for material handling and movement within the shop.
- Occasionally drive company vehicles to perform work-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in 12V and 24V systems, basic circuitry, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with transducers, sensors, Modbus protocols, and networking principles.
- Skilled in the safe operation of forklifts and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document work effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or materials as needed.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
