Echo Tech - Day Shift
Job Summary:
- Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.
- Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a physician or manager.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree and graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARMS).
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.
