Position Summary:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production operations and drive performance across all manufacturing activities. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, cost control, and team performance in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and shop floor management
- Develop and optimize production processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
- Lead teams in executing manufacturing goals while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to support manufacturability and new product introductions
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, such as 5S or any other method to have continuous improvement initiatives
- Track and analyze production KPIs such as throughput, scrap rates, cycle times, and labor productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and QA/QC standards
- Manage materials usage and inventory control in coordination with supply chain
- Recruit, train, and develop production staff, setting clear goals and expectations
- Maintain and improve a matrix development plan for the employees.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of manufacturing or plant operations management experience, preferably in oilfield services, machining, or related industries
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process improvement, and quality assurance
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling tools, and data analysis
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
