We are currently looking for a Manager, Platform Operations to join our team, who will be responsible for planning, execution, and troubleshooting of a continuous flow of content, Free, Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels, and ad configurations for Amasian TV and all service platforms. You will play a key role in aligning the team’s performance as a subject matter expert on channel quality and platform operations and growth.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and execute best practices in onboarding channels per ODK Media technical specifications for MRSS feeds, XML feeds, HLS feeds, and XMLTV feeds through managing the Platform team members.
- Implement and execute best practices for onboarding strategies, tooling, and troubleshooting by providing training, guidance, and feedback to the team members.
- Enhance programming by ensuring all proper metadata is provided promptly to meet target launch dates.
- Manage the development and implementation of content programs with entertainment partners.
- Support Management with identifying and evaluating business opportunities and targeting key event programming to drive differentiation.
- Coordinate partner promotions, content tracking, and cross-platform programs with other divisions.
- Coordinate with marketing and creative teams to align content goals and ensure smooth and timely implementation of content programs.
- Track and report channel performance metrics, including viewer engagement, ad revenue, and inventory utilization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- 4 years or more of experience in the streaming/broadcasting industry, along with experience in managing technical specifications for MRSS/XML/HLS feeds, video encoding, metadata, and ad tech.
- Proven communication skills with external partners, as this role is a key collaborator and client-facing.
- Understanding of ad-supported streaming platforms is a plus.
- Bilingual (Korean/English)
- People management/leadership experience, as this role has a team of direct reports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Maintain a high level of support to internal & external customers
● Strong interest in streaming media, digital entertainment, or television.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
● Practical communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
● Ability to adapt to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Must be able to be fully on-site and come to the office Monday through Thursday

ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from ($)75,000 – 85,000. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
