ODK Marketing Intern (Unpaid)

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA, United States that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, and OnDemandViet. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently looking for an ODK Marketing Intern to join our growing team, who will develop marketing campaigns, create promotional content, and maximize ROI. The ideal candidate is passionate about redefining content through innovation and persuasive in their messaging!

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Discover top trends in the media and entertainment industry and create a content marketing plan
• Produce copy for online and offline marketing mediums such as social media, emails, landing pages, service platform, etc.
• Compile data and create weekly status reports for marketing projects. Present learnings and insights to the greater team
• Upload marketing banners through content management system
• Perform day-to-day operations for Google and Facebook Ads
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create compelling marketing materials
• Organize and update marketing resources across internal systems

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in Marketing or related field of study
• Bilingual in Korean & English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Deep knowledge of and passion for Korean content
• Strong copywriting skills: incorporate strategic positioning into writing. Good sense of humor is appreciated
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of social platforms and their strengths
• Proactive and naturally curious about the digital space, constantly looking for opportunities to engage the audience
• Identify emerging trends. Conceptualize, create, and execute short-form video content to support marketing campaigns
• Photoshop and video editing skills are a huge plus
• Experience with Google and Facebook Ads Manager
• Must be able to be fully onsite and come to the office Monday through Thursday
• Capacity to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced changing environment
• Eager and open to learn!
