What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Instructor position at Odle Management Group LLC?
Performs as a Math Instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject areas. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in Career Success Standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to ensure maximum student motivation
- Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to ensure maximum learning.
- Meets SMART Goals established by Management every Program Year.
- Establishes a high degree of students/instructor rapport.
- Responsible for adequate classroom preparation.
- Advising Students
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- FL Teaching Certification is REQUIRED.
- Prefer one year of teaching with disadvantaged youth, but not required.
- Valid State driver’s license.
