What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver's Education Instructor position at Odle Management Group LLC?
Job Function: Responsible for the instructions of Driver’s Education curriculum in accordance with the Job Corps requirements and program specification. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards. Oklahoma Teaching certification for Driver’s Education and Safety in the State of Oklahoma is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Counsels and motivates students regarding behavior, training, personal and/or study habits and problems.
• Individualizes the Driver’s Education curriculum to fit the students’ experiences.
• Prepares reports, monthly student evaluations, and maintains a classroom environment conductive to learning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements: Oklahoma Teaching certification for Driver’s Education and Safety in the State of Oklahoma. Valid states driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
$1,500 sign on bonus available. If an candidate is selected for a position in which the sign-on bonus applies, 50% of the Sign-On Bonus will be paid on the new employee’s first paycheck and the remaining 50% will be paid after successful completion of the employee’s introductory period (on the paycheck following 6 months of employment). An employee who leaves the company in less than a year, will repay the prorated amount of the sign-on bonus received, based on his/her time on the job.
