What We're Looking For :
We need someone who is an expert in hardware, software, and networks specifically within Linux environments. The ideal candidate should be a proactive thinker with a keen eye for detail, ready to tackle challenges in a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial. If you have a knack for optimizing Linux networks and providing essential support, we want to hear from you! CompTIA Linux or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive internal IT desktop support in a Ubuntu Linux environment.
- Utilize shell scripting to modify a base Linux image as necessary.
- Manage system administration tasks for Ubuntu.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting on Linux Workstations.
- Automate the deployment process for Linux laptops.
- Conduct installations and upgrades for Linux workstations, including desktop configurations and network connections.
- Serve as the technical liaison with our network service provider for issue troubleshooting.

Compensation and Benefits :
The estimated annual compensation for this role is $80,000-$130,000, with actual salaries varying based on education, experience, and location factors.
