ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates a forklift to load and unload materials.
- Completes all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents.
- Manages dock door usage.
- Handles all products according to customer and employer procedures.
- Communicates changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel. Complete warehouse worksheet.
- Complies with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual.
- Works with inbound operations to determine priority of inbound Receipts based on order demand, trailer needs and detention.
- Seals outbound trailers.
- Assigns inbound/outbound workloads for all shifts.
- Performs problem-solving analysis on supply chain and inventory issues
- Communicates effectively with Transportation, OFR, Management, Co-workers, and Customers.
- Presents verbal and written communications in a clear, concise manner.
- Researches and resolves discrepancies (w/ inventories, orders, inbounds). Verify and reconcile inventory.
- Monitors shipment times to deliver within specified time frame.
- Manages spreadsheets and reports that are sent to management and clients on a daily/weekly basis.

- Skills and Background
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
- 1 - year min. of Forklift experience
- 1 - year min. of Shipping and Receiving Experience.
- Computer, data entry and internet experience (Microsoft Office Applications, AS400)
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
Language Requirements
- Ability to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.
- Protect the accuracy, integrity and salability of our client’s inventory and adhere to standard operating procedures and meet physical inventory and/or cycle count accuracy expectations
- Perform daily Cycle Counts and Count Requests, and manage RMA, Inbound and Hold Areas
- Safely and efficiently use appropriate power equipment (forklift, standup, walkie-rider) in prescribed work methods and utilize radio frequency equipment as required
- Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and orderly manner
- Inspect equipment and report issues to maintenance
- Comply with OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
- High school or GED diploma preferred
- Previous experience with operational equipment (narrow aisle reach trucks, counter-balance forklifts, RF scanners and WMS) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools preferred
Capabilities
- Ability to follow directions
- Work well in teams and strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Accurately count and perform basic math functions
Physical & Mental Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires the ability to:
- Hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate
- Continuously sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion
- Occasionally stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn or reach
- Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capabilities
- Moderate overtime and occasional weekend work
- Work various shifts on short notice
- Spend 70 – 80% of time on warehouse floor in fast-paced environment
