ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.
The Director of Sales is responsible for understanding the company's position in the third-party logistics industry market. They will implement programs that are designed to secure new businesses and retain existing clients aligned to corporate objectives. This position will also assist in the development of marketing materials to strategically position the organization in the marketplace. The Director of Sales is expected to spearhead new opportunities and develop initiatives to gain brand awareness and new clients.
Essential Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data and information to update marketing and / or sales plans, activities, and company literature / materials
- Participate in tradeshow and networking activities to generate sales lead and brand awareness in the marketplace
- Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients and the general public to enhance the organization's brand awareness
- Manage and develop reports for the Executive Committee and the Sales & Marketing department with information from in the HubSpot database, email communications, documents and other tools to drive strategic decision-making
- Address quote requests and client leads and prepare / present proposals to the Growth and Executive Teams with new opportunities
- Pioneer, develop, and coordinate prospective client tours, presentations and activities to assist in the sales cycle
- Manage transition of accounts from sales to the operations and implementation teams to support new client implementation phases
- All other duties as assigned
