Summary:
Provide technical support to campus and administrative staff. Primary duty is desktop hardware and software support, installation of school approved applications, occasional network and server troubleshooting required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Immediate response to campus service requests
- Repair of school technology equipment as required
- Communicate resolution of problems to end users in a timely manner
- Assist in the training and support of end users
- Installation and testing of school approved software
- Protection and removal of computer viruses
- Manage user accounts and maintain security levels as defined by district procedures
- Contact product support through appropriate means to resolve technical problems related to specific software/hardware applications.
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree or trade school preferred
- Technical certifications for Microsoft and Cisco given extra consideration
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated competency in computer hardware and software applications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Productivity Software
- Knowledge of basic networking and wireless
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong customer service skills
Experience:
- Experience in a technical/customer support role preferred
- Three to five years desktop hardware and application support preferred
Salary : $27,845 - $43,506
