How You Will Contribute/Position Summary
The Human Resources Director plans, leads, develops, and coordinates Human Resource related initiatives in support of eating disorder treatment centers throughout multiple states. Position ensures all Human Resources and management practices are compliant with legal, licensure, and accreditation standards and aligned with organizational objectives, mission, vision, and core values. The Human Resources Director partners with network and corporate leadership to create, operationalize and lead service initiatives aimed at positioning the company as an employer of choice. Position promotes and models internal customer service throughout the network, providing guidance to Human Resources team members, facility and network leaders.
Essential Responsibilities
- Actively participates in strategy development and operational planning for facilities within the Network; understands implications of operational strategy and objectives, proactively anticipating and responding to operational needs.
- Develops and implements actionable, measurable, sustainable Human Resources strategies and tactical plans to support organizational objectives; talent acquisition, retention and engagement, performance management, employee relations, and talent development aligned with Company culture and values.
- Champions national initiatives, annual campaigns, core values, and service standards to achieve short and long-range goals.
- Collaborates with facility and Network leadership to ensure staffing levels are maintained and meet all program needs and regulatory requirements across the Network.
- Provides leadership and guidance to Human Resource team members across the Network.
- Provides guidance for complex employee relations matters and performance management processes, including conflict mediation.
- Advises Network and Executive leadership on organizational design in support of growth and efficiency. This includes evaluating work structure, job design, and workforce forecasting, interdependencies, and role and responsibility clarity.
- Cultivates internal talent and retention through talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, and training/development.
- Partners with talent acquisition teams and leadership to drive recruitment efforts utilizing applicant tracking system, proactive candidate sourcing, and pipeline development.
- Ensures robust internship programs are in place at all locations, positioning all facilities as an employer of choice and preferred community partner to colleges and universities.
- Conducts periodic system audits ensuring consistent accuracy and integrity of all Human Resources data.
- Shapes new hire orientation across the Network ensuring the process is welcoming of new hires, intentionally designed, and informative.
- Ensures all training and development plans/activities meet compliance/accreditation needs while positively contributing to employee development.
Additional Responsibilities
- Acts as a point of customer service for team members on items related to Paycom, Relias, and benefit access.
- Ensures employment verifications and appropriate background/reference checks in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Assists with the maintenance, creation, and distribution of HR related forms and communications.
- Maintains HRIS ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and compiles reports from database.
- Provides support for the learning management system ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attends meetings as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What We Are Seeking/Education and Experience:
Position requires an bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably within a healthcare setting and a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience. PHR/SPHR strongly preferred.
Other Requirements
Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
