PAY: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Residential Admissions/Senior Director of Admissions & Residential Support Services, the Administrative Assistant performs clerical, secretarial and administrative duties. When necessary, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all program managers and senior management.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer telephones, take messages and schedule appointments.
2. Review legal, clinical and other pertinent documents ensuring all necessary documents are recorded and filed.
3. Distribute cases to Admissions staff.
4. Sort and distribute incoming and interoffice mail.
5. Type correspondence, reports, memos, etc.
6. Develop and maintain various filing systems including all new inductions.
7. Attend scheduled staff meetings and maintain minutes.
8. Initiate, maintain and update referral databases.
9. Attend all required in-service training seminars.
10. Participate in quality improvement activities.
11. Other relevant duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. High School Diploma/G.E.D with two (2) years administrative assistant and or receptionist experience.
2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3. Must demonstrate ability to type fifty (50) words per minute.
4. Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, AWARDS, and Outlook programs).
5. Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
