MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
She/he is responsible for developing new business relationships and building upon existing relationships with behavioral health providers, medical clinics, hospitals, shelters, treatment courts, child welfare agencies and other human service providers on behalf of Odyssey House’s outpatient and residential treatment programs. She/he is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Peer Engagement Specialist and Street Outreach Specialists.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops linkage agreements with new business partners.
2. Maintains current linkage agreements with existing business partners, reviews and updates each agreement annually.
3. Develops and adheres to a weekly schedule of in-person meetings, remote meetings and check-in calls with all new and existing business partners.
4. Monitor referral volume and admissions conversions rates for each business partner.
5. Works with Director of Clinical Data management to develop data reports which inform outreach and engagement strategies.
6. Works with supervisor and Deputy Director of Admissions to identify workflow challenges and problem solve with all business partners.
7. Works with supervisor and Deputy Director of Admissions to establish performance benchmarks relative to engagement of new business partners, number of referrals and number of program admissions.
8. Works with supervisor and Communications Manager to develop print and digital marketing materials.
9. Works with supervisor and Communications Manager to implement marketing campaigns.
10. Participates in rotating on-call coverage plan.
11. Prepares monthly reports as requested by supervisor.
12. Assures that all outreach staff members and administrative assistant are adequately trained.
13. Provides direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies.
14. Prepares written annual evaluations on staff under his/her supervision.
15. Participates in daily clinical and administrative meetings with staff as designated.
16. Provide ongoing training for program staff and participate in Odyssey House in-service trainings.
17. Other relevant duties as assigned by Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or healthcare administration and one year experience OR associate’s degree in marketing, business administration or healthcare administration and three years’ experience working in a healthcare or human services setting required.
2. Driver’s license required.
3. Familiarity with NYC metropolitan-area behavioral healthcare provider networks required.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings required.
6. Proven success with platform and presentation skills required.
7. Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LMSW, LMHC, CASAC etc.) preferred.
8. Bi-lingual with Spanish language fluency preferred.
