About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain Informatics to lead our supply chain systems strategy, implementation, and ongoing management. This role will drive the optimization of Supply Chain data analytics and technology to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to set and execute the technology roadmap for Supply Chain systems, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, EDI, and ERP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of Supply Chain technology strategy and roadmap, with a focus on ERP components (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Item Master, etc.).
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and explore innovations to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Oversee data management and analytics, ensuring data integrity, security, and governance, and develop advanced reporting tools and interactive dashboards.
- Proactively manage predictive analytics for demand forecasting, supply chain disruptions, and inventory optimization.
- Ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain systems with financial accounting systems.
- Champion cybersecurity compliance and data privacy standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic transformation within the Supply Chain.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in IT/computer-related fields or Supply Chain, including 5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience in a health system environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing technical teams and driving strategic impact.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management systems, and reporting tools such as PeopleSoft, GHX, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advocate for technology’s role in advancing strategic goals.
- Ability to analyze complex data and recommend actionable insights.
Working Environment:
- Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory, and office environments.
- Occasional travel required for meetings and in-person work-related activities.
