Overview:
The contractor will collaborate with the Oracle EPM implementation team, business process owners, and IT development team to ensure Segregation of Duties (SoD) are properly defined, documented, and mitigated. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing accurate and timely information to support the implementation process and will be involved in the planning, design, and testing phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning, design, and testing of the Oracle EPM implementation.
- Define roles and responsibilities within Oracle EPM.
- Identify and assess potential SoD risks for the project.
- Generate and review SoD assessments, and determine SOX controls to address SoD risks.
- Collaborate with the IT development team to ensure new roles and responsibilities are incorporated into the SoD tool (an internally developed application).
- Document SOX controls and process narratives for financial reporting, consolidations, and planning.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor s degree in accounting or Management Information Systems (MIS) is required.
- CPA or CISA certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties and its connection to risk and internal controls.
- Previous experience with Oracle EPM implementations.
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry terminology is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse, and team-oriented environment, with flexibility to meet project deadlines.
- High level of reliability, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
