We are seeking a highly skilled Payer Enrollment Specialist to join our team. This role involves completing provider credentialing applications, ensuring timely submissions for reappointments, and maintaining provider information in the CAQH database. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in payer enrollment within a hospital or health system, demonstrating a detail-oriented and organized approach to handling multiple tasks efficiently. This is a fully onsite role with no remote work option available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and review credentialing applications with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with providers, government agencies, and managed care companies to obtain status updates and resolve application discrepancies.
- Assist physicians with application completion and provide regular updates to administration, billing, and office management teams.
- Ensure timely reappointments, verify current licenses, and maintain credentialing files.
- Maintain and update the CAQH database.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Submittal Requirements:
- Available for a 13-week contract.
- Fully onsite position.
- Must obtain a flu shot prior to starting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of payer enrollment experience within a hospital or health system.
- Proficient in CAQH database maintenance.
- Strong skills in Excel and experience with Cactus/Symplr.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced experience with Cactus/Symplr and CAQH is a plus.
