Senior Technical Business Analyst - 8 - 10 years experience
Odyssey Information Services Dallas, Texas, United States (Remote)
Needing a Senior Technical Business Analyst immediately for one of Odyssey's top clients in the Dallas, TX area. The successful candidate will have come from a development background and moved into a Technical BA role. Ideal experience is with Web/Mobile based E- Commerce applications in large enterprise level companies. Must be sharp excellent communicator!
This position is a Remote long-term opportunity but prefers local Dallas, TX ( DFW ) Or CST/ EST Time zone candidates. Flexible to come in for team meetings every 2 - 3 months. If you are out of town must be willing to travel in. The expenses and airfare will be covered.
No International travel first 90 days will be approved.
Requirements:
· MUST be very strong technically ( Full stack Tech BA exp)
· E-commerce
· Front-end user story experience
· Backend experience with API Testing: knowledge and use of Postman and or Swagger
· Agile Methodology
· REST Web Services
· User Story Creation
· Story Mapping Analysis
· Acceptance Criteria Definition
· Release Notes
· Basic SQL and Unix
· Excellent communication skills
· Personality and cultural fit are important!
· Agile Methodology And Jira
Plus Skills:
- Airline
- Anaplan
- Prior Developer background is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
· Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
· Staying up-to-date on IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
· Conducting meetings and demos.
· Performing requirements analysis.
· Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
· Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
· Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
· Prioritizing initiatives based on tech needs and requirements.
· Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
· Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
