Odyssey Lodge is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper for the 2025 summer season. This is a live-on-site position ideal for someone who enjoys remote living, pristine nature, and creating extraordinary guest experiences in a luxury lodge setting.Position Overview
The Housekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and staff areas to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation. Ideal candidates are dependable, efficient, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in creating beautiful, well-kept spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, cabins, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing
- Change linens, make beds, and restock room amenities
- Launder and fold linens and towels with attention to lodge standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in staff and utility areas
- Follow lodge cleaning checklists and safety protocols
- Identify and report maintenance needs or safety issues promptly
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate guest readiness
- Occasionally assist with setup for events, wellness services, or VIP guest arrivals
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a remote setting and in varied weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and professional demeanor
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
