The Senior Architect – Oracle Cloud Financials role is responsible for the for leading the functional design, configuration, ongoing maintenance and implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials applications (AR/AP/GL/FA/CM), Sub ledger accounting, Intercompany with exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.

The Senior Architect – Oracle Cloud Financials role is responsible for the for leading the functional design, configuration, ongoing maintenance and implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials applications (AR/AP/GL/FA/CM), Sub ledger accounting, Intercompany with exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Develop and implement financial reporting, Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA), Intercompany with extensive accounting knowledge, Oracle Cloud Security, Data Migration, FBDI, ADFdi and Integration tools.
- Work on Data migration using FBDI tools
- Gather and analyze business requirements, map them to Oracle Cloud functionality, and provide solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Financials, providing strategic guidance and best practices to clients and internal teams.
- Configure Oracle Cloud Financials applications to ensure alignment with business processes and requirements.
- Lead and support testing efforts, including system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of the system.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Advocate for the Oracle Cloud Financials solution as it pertains to other business opportunities that can be realized by the platform.
- Ensure the implementation meets all internal and external regulatory requirements
- Support the definition and development of key business realization metrics
- Provide ongoing maintenance & support through continuous improvement of the platform.
- Mentor and train business and technical resources around proper usage of the cloud solution

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, computer science or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications is a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion Financials).
- Proven experience in leading Oracle Cloud Financials implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management), financial reporting, SLA, Intercompany with extensive Accounting knowledge, Oracle Cloud Security, Data Migration, FBDI, ADFdi and Integration tools.
- Procurement Knowledge is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (OCS) preferred not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and escalate challenges
- Experience working on large end-to-end Cloud financials implementation.
