**Locum Family Medicine Physician Needed**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive medical services to patients aged 0-99
- Conducting physical examinations, taking medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests
- Developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Schedule and Work Environment:
This is a Monday-to-Friday role, working 8 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break. You can expect to see approximately 25 patients per day.
You will be based at one of two clinic locations, with the possibility of working between both sites. Our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is Nexgen.
Credentialing and Orientation:
To commence this assignment, you will need to undergo a paid orientation program, which takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays. Attendance on both days is mandatory as part of the credentialing process.
Please note that this is an ongoing assignment, expected to last for at least 3 six-month periods, with the option to extend. We require that you hold a current Alabama License and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
